We were inseparable and in love. The perfect couple. Until we weren’t.
Now senior year is here and we're both super busy. He has football. I have volleyball. And we have less and less time for one another. The distance between us grows every day until eventually, I hear the devastating rumors - Diego's cheating on me. And I feel like l lost the other half of my heart.
Breaking up with him is the hardest thing I've ever done, but thankfully there are only a few more months of school, and then I can leave for college. He’ll just be a sad memory in my rearview mirror.
