Alexandre Alarie has been the king of France for the last two years. While he was welcomed to the throne with open arms he began to notice that the ones surrounding him were as fake as the words they uttered. His reign, though brief, was being threatened by his lack of a wife. He has tried to avoid it but there was only one solution, he must choose a bride.
They forced his hand so now he must return the favor. He will choose a bride not based off of status or upbringing but based on the answer to a simple question: What would you do if you were queen? The responses came in from every corner of the country, some responses philosophical, some vain. The woman he chose shocked them all because he chose the one that left the pages blank.
